Santa
Ana is located in the central plateau, with an altitude
of approximately 800m. The place is known as “Valle
del Sol” (Sun Valley), because of its special
weather. Compared to its surroundings (Escazú,
San José, etc.) the weather is more stable, it
is drier, there is less rain and more sun; however it
is not too hot. At the San Jose Climate station, the
valley is well-known for its pleasant and healthy weather. |

Santa
Ana has the advantage of being near the capital and
at the same time near nature. It is only 15 minutes
away from downtown San José and it is a calm
and safe neighborhood. All services are nearby: Santa
Ana shopping center, Automercado, Multiplaza Escazú
(with a great variety of stores and the best movie theaters
in Costa Rica), Cima hospital (a prestigious private
clinic), the Juan Santamaría international airport,
different sport centers; for example, the Country Club,
and others. |
